Maquoketa Dog Park was established with the assistance of volunteers led by Maquoketa Hometown Pride. It is managed by the City of Maquoketa Parks Board as part of Horseshoe Pond, Dog Park, & Campground.

With separate areas for large and small dogs
Park open daily from dawn to dusk.
Owners must closely supervise their dogs at all times.
Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the dog park. A collar or harness with identification should be worn at all times. No promg, choke, or chaiin collars allowed.
Dogs must have current vaccinations and license if applicale and be at lesat 5 months old.
Maximum of three dogs per adult.
Dogs that are aggressive, sick, or in heat are not allowed,
Discourage barking and digging. Please fill any holes made by your dog.
Owners are liable for injuries and damage caused by their dogs. If your dog is involved in an incident, exchange contact information and exit the park.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Owners must clean up after their dog both inside and outside of the dog park.
No strollers, bikes, or children's toys are allowed in the dog park.
No smoking, drugs, alcoholic beverages, glass containers, or food is allowed in the dog park.
Please keep our park clean. Pick up after your pet.
Habiltual offenders may not be permitted back.
Park may be closed for mowing or maintenance.
